Maybe you've got concrete you don't want to replace, but you need new areas of concrete poured to meet the existing concrete. You want a really nice texture on your new concrete, but stamped or textured concrete won't match the old concrete. Think about a stampable overlay. The new concrete gets the stamped texture finish and the old concrete gets a stamped overlay.

What's a stampable overlay? It's a concretious polymer that looks, acts and works just like concrete, only it's virtually indestructible, because of the strength derived from the combination of the concretious material and the polymers. When it's finished, you won't be able to tell the new, stamped concrete from the stamped overlay.

What if you just want to resurface on old, cracked, driveway, sidewalk or patio, but want need to get it done for even less money than the stamped overlay system? Then, concrete resurfacing may be just the thing for you. As in the stampable overlay system, the material used for concrete “TEXTURE” is a special formulation of acrylic polymers, co­polymers, resins, and modifiers in a Portland cement based mix. It is suitable for interior and exterior applications, dries hard and is fast curing. It displays excellent resistance to ultra-violet light and heat with high adhesion properties. The resins are directly related to those used in tough Plexiglas. This product is ideal for driveways, pool decks, patios, sidewalks, floors, block walls, etc. It is not a paint or a stain, rather it is a cementitious material that seals, colors, and protects. It will not chip, peel or blister, providing a clean surface that is easily maintained.
